Full Description: This camera's exterior powder coating absorbs light, eliminating reflection for excellent concealment. The wide angle lens maximizes your capture. Smart Scouter utilizes 50 infrared bulbs that are invisible to the eye (human or animal), eliminating the risk of spooking the subject with the white light of traditional flash bulbs. This, paired with the low light night vision camera, provides quality nighttime photographs out to 60 feet. PIR technology senses changes in temperature (not motion), so large animals trigger the device, while general motion like tree branches or wind will not set the device off. Manage your device settings in the field using the control panel or via the SmartScouter web site. Modify picture delay settings, camera resolution, dial-up frequency, and other great features that maximize your outdoor experience. The custom optical filter in the IR flash window helps retain brightness while eliminating any potential of IR glow. The internal battery promises a reliable power source that lasts 4-6 weeks, and the battery charger allows you to replenish your battery for day to day use. This Smart Scouter camera requires a wireless plan through the Smart Scouter website for wireless operation.
