It\'s still good
We used as is & weat camping to make drip coffee (to bad no one makes them no more) the water was realy rusty out of the spickit at that place. It did get a tint of rust. I did reseasn when I got home and i'm still using it!

expected more bang for the buck
item stated to be preseasoned; i am not sure what i should have expected but i definitely expectred better seasoning. we seasoned the item but it still gets rusty inside and we are unable to actually boil water for tea use. we now use it as steamer only but are disappointed. expected more.
